2023 Grace Grant Application

The Grace Grant is intended for libraries and historical organizations in the Catskills and Upper Delaware regions to help create youth skill building and growth opportunities by way of developing programming or offering internships for middle- and high-schoolers. Organizations in Sullivan, Ulster, Delaware, Greene, Wayne and Pike counties are eligible to apply. The deadline to apply is July 15, 2023. Grant recipient(s) will be announced by September 1st, 2023.

Organizations may request up to $1,500. Matching funds are not required, but applications demonstrating some organizational financial support for the program will be preferenced. Please direct any questions about the grant or the application to gracejohansenfoundation@gmail.com. Once you submit the application, you will be unable to edit it.

Budgets should be in PDF or Excel formats. Applications received without a budget by the end of business on August 1st will not be reviewed.


Sunshine Hall Free Library: 2022 Grace Grant Recipient

We are honored to have selected the Sunshine Hall Free Library in Eldred, New York as the recipient of the 2022 Grace Grant, in support of the development of an internship program and expanded partnership with the Eldred Central School District.
